If you are choosing Tulum as the backdrop for your wedding, then you already know that there is something pretty magical about this place. The white sand, turquoise water, exotic jungle, and intimate, laid back vibe make this a very special place to say your I Do’s.

The team here at Plug In has years of experience with destination weddings taking place in Tulum, so we really understand the relaxed yet chic style that couples celebrating their wedding in Tulum are looking for. Taking all this into account, we have worked on hand picking and customizing our services and equipment set-ups to complement Tulum’s beautifully unique, boho style:

Natural Decor

Our rustic natural wood DJ booth looks amazing against the white sand and jungle backdrop and our clean white wood dance floor is the perfect platform to dance the night away.

Beach-glam details

You can add a few strings of dangling bistro lights or a couple of mirrored disco balls to add a retro glam touch to your dance floor.

Subtle lighting

We promise to make sure your wedding lighting enhances the natural setting of your venue, without being too flashy. The lighting will create a beautiful ambience and atmosphere for your wedding dinner and reception.

Extra-quiet power generators

As a generous amount of eco hotels and restaurants are scattered throughout Tulum, we have extra quiet power generators that will go un-noticed.

Personalized music

We will customize the music for every part of your special day and are always available to coordinate with your musicians, assisting them to connect to the sound system for your ceremony or cocktail hour

Strategic setups

The equipment is strategically set up to blend as much as possible amongst the beautiful natural surroundings, while providing rich sound and glowing lighting. We take time to make sure each detail has been seen too, such as burying the cables under the sand and placing the speakers in a location where they will not stand out in your wedding pictures. It’s these little details that make a world of difference.

DJ, AV & Lighting Design provided for guest DJ

Alexis married her hubby in Tulum in December 2015.  Here’s what she said:

“Plug In provided the DJ and functional lighting for our 120 person wedding in Tulum, and we were absolutely blown away by every element they provided and by their customer service! They were detail oriented, communicated well and delivered a spectacular product (lighting and music) that rivalled any big wedding we have been to in New York/LA/Miami. They were truly our favorite vendor- they replied to every email within an hour in perfect English, they were constantly in touch regarding even the smallest details, their pricing was fabulous and they were generally a joy to work with. They even went out of their way to get special decorative spotlights that we requested. You could tell that the whole team really loves what they do- we really felt that they were very invested in making our wedding perfect! As for the music, DJ Chuy was amazing!!!!! Over half of our crowd were from NYC, and we must have heard from over a dozen people how amazing the DJ was (and we loved him too)! We had a freak 15-minute monsoon at our open-air wedding right after dinner, and before we even knew what was happening, DJ Chuy and the team had moved all of the equipment to a covered location and restarted an awesome dance party. It was so seamless, and I give the Plug In team credit for saving our wedding despite a little rain! I wholeheartedly recommend this team- they were absolutely awesome!”
